Regional Customer Service Manager

Position Summary
Coordinate the regional administrative function - this includes but is not limited to the implementation and support of new/upgraded warehouse operating systems (acting as the corporate data processing liaison).  Enforce corporate policy for administration personnel and customer service. Incorporate continued training and cross training of all administrative personnel within the specific region. Administer reviews of regional monthly aging and advise Regional Vice-President and Director of Business Development of concerns.

Accountabilities

Management Information System- Implement and support all new/upgraded warehouse and office operating systems.  This will include, but is not limited to the computer systems and manual systems required in the administration of the operation.

Labor Management- Audit facility administration and supply necessary training.

Periodic Duties- Ensure that accurate physical inventories and reconciliations are complete. Maintain lease and customer files at the regional level. Develop and coordinate special events within the region. Review Regional Accounts Receivables.

Intermittent Duties Initiating sales calls when administration of the account is an issue at the discretion of the Regional Vice President. Attend industry/professional meetings and conferences when applicable.

Comply with all Company rules, policies, and procedures.  Work and behave safely by following all safety rules and regulations.

Perform any task required to support customer requirements and Company goals.

1.  Primary trainer to all Customer Service Representatives in region
2.  Source data/training aid to enable productivity tracking
3.  Facility Manager reports - weekly Flash and monthly P & L review

5.  Accounts receivable - nothing over 60 days

Essential Skills, Education, and Experience

Five (5) or more years of related Warehousing & Distribution leadership experience and/or training. This related experience may be substituted for degree; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Proven track record of successful innovation experience in Warehousing & Distribution. This background is a must.

Ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of leadership, growth and innovation in the Warehousing & Distribution.

Position will travel as necessary to various MIL locations, clients, carriers, etc.

Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.

Only candidates with Warehouse and Distribution experience  and background will be considered for this position.
This position does not offer any sort of  relocation compensation.
