Software Engineer

Marietta company seeking a Software Engineer.  Position will have the responsiblity to retrieve requirements from end users.  They will subsequently take those requirements and define, create and complete the software development life cycle.  This includes everything from page design to database design.  This a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment that encourages learning, experimentation, and growth.

Duties and Responsibilties

Troubleshoot and modify existing ASP applications
Understand technical requirements of each project and convey them to management
Create .Net web applications
Create .Net windows application
Troubleshoot and modify existing .Net application
Work with existing database structures
Design, create and implement new database design structures
Design, build and maintain custom solutions for internal clients using Mcirosoft development tools

Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision on short term projects
Requires initiative and work ethic to get the job done as requested with minimal supervision
Must have the ability to multi-task and adapt to frequent and unexpected changes to requirements
Must possess strong analytical skills, detail oriented
Requires the ability to work with a team or independently
Must  have the ability to write stored procedures and functions
Should be familiar with Object oriented principles
Must be an energetic team player
Requires excellent interpersonal communication skills and entrepreneurial spirit
Is experienced in Standards-Compliant  XHTML / CSS / JS

Education and Experience

1-3 years expereince creating data driven web pages using .Net
1-3 years of full life cycle development experience
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005
Bachelors degree or higher is required, preferably MIS/IT
