LAB TECHNICIAN / CHEMIST – Kennesaw, GA – Temp-to-Hire Opportunity!

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to perform routine analysis and testing in our clients’ lab. You will be required to perform lab tests to produce reliable and precise data to support investigations, carry out routine tasks accurately and following strict SOP methodologies to carry out analyses, be involved in data acquisition and interpretation of results. You will also be expected to calibrate the analytical instruments on a regular basis, maintain accurate standards, handle day-to-day operations of the lab, have a willingness to get involved in running of experiments whenever is needed, follow and ensure strict safety procedures and checks and general lab cleaning and inventory control.

 

Requirements:

• You must be familiar with a variety of analytical techniques: GC, GC/MS, HPLC, RI, ELSD, UV Spec testing
• Associates degree in Chemistry or related field  
• Safety minded with a strong work ethic
• A strong background in carbohydrate chemistry and lignin analysis is preferred
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
